"Hard work beats talent

when Talent doesn't work  â€‹Hard." - Tim Notke

Hola!

My name is Grace and I'm a Computer Science student, artist and researcher.

This summer, I've been given the opportunity to work as an intern for the Integrative Computational Education and Research Traineeship (ICERT) at the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC).

I'm currently working as a summer researcher in the visualization laboratory where I'll be working on developing a post-seizure empathy tool with another undergraduate intern from the University of Florida, Marvis Cruz. If you wish to read more about what we're going to be working on, you may read and follow my blog posts.

Furthermore, I'm extremely interested in visualization development, computer graphics and computer animation. I love making scripts and using tools to make visuals that faciliate reading data.

Upon graduation I wish to find employment in the industry as a technical artist or a similiar position where I can apply my coding and artistic skills.

Subsequently, I'm hoping that I can continue my education by pursuing a masters degree in Computer Graphics or Computer Animation.

In my free time I like drawing, painting, going swimming in the beach, hanging out with my friends, watching tv series and films.

You may view some of my artwork in my personal art blog.
